Does a portfolio change mean a trade?
A change between quarterly snapshots does not reveal every trade between them.
A new position appears in this quarter's resolved share holdings and was absent from the previous quarter. An exit was present before and is absent now. Added and reduced positions have higher or lower reported share amounts. These labels compare snapshots.
Several trades can occur between those snapshots. A share change can also reflect a corporate action or reporting correction. Consensus counts filers with a change, without claiming that each change was a trade. Read the ranking and consensus definitions.
